Happy Holidays & Feliz Navidad

Cola de Mono & Pan de Pascua

Happy Holidays from Cachando Chile

May your Eve be twinkly, and
your Christmas, merry;
your roasts be tasty and
your toasts, tipsy.

May your cookies be frosted, and
your carols, joyous;
your loved ones be gathered,
and your gifts, funky.

May you have the loveliest of holidays–whatever you celebrate and wherever you may be!

Feliz Navidad, Merry Christmas, and Seasons Greetings, one and all-

Margaret.

PS: Cachando Chile will be back on a regular schedule very soon!

  3. John & Marmo-
    Thanks for the holiday wishes! Merry Christmas to you John–I hope you have a wonderful day tomorrow (25th). Marmo–I’ll use past tense with you, since Christmas in Chile is now over (24th)- I hope it was wonderful and that you and Marmita lo pasaron lo más bien y que tengan un fin de semana muy linda en familia.
    And yes, I hope that now I will be able to start posting regularly once again!!
    Thanks for your support and encouragement!

  4. Dear Margaret:

    Thanks a lot for your Xmas message–with that beautiful picture—. I hope you have had a good time, and that Cachando Chile continues next year.
    Love,

  5. Hi Margaret,
    Christmas is not such a big deal in Buddhist Japan but I now it is cherished in Chile. The big, New Year is just a few days away now. Best to you and yours. Season’s greeting!
    John in Japan

  6. Hi John-
    Seasons Greetings to you too!
    I hope you don’t miss Christmas too much. I know I have a hard time with Thanksgiving here in Chile because of course it’s a US (and Canadian) tradition and there’s no reason for Chileans to even be aware of it (obviously!). I actually like New Years here because it’s lower key, more family oriented, and involves fireworks!
    Hope your celebration is great and the year to come even better!
    M

  7. Fliz Año Nuevo to you too Classyrose!
